Adding Audio, Slideshows, Video, or Screen-casts...
During week three... Please be sure to sign in!
This week we will focus on adding photos, slideshows, You Tube videos (all with free Weebly) or music, audio, HD video/screen-casts (only available with Weebly Pro) to your web space. These features are nice to 'jazz' things up while your students visit your space as well as to use for teaching tools.
There are many software tools already housed on your mac to assist with these features and others available for download or web based use.
Some you will wish to prepare for your students and others you can have your students use. Many times students can make authentic assessments by producing their own such media presentations and will simply need your expectations and guidance. Either way, it truly adds a new dimension to your teaching as well as student learning.
Be sure to refer back to the Support Center for this week for any extra help you might need and also review the resource page for suggestions for tools to facilitate adding these media components.
The National and Massachusetts Technology Standards listed on the 'handouts' page of week two are full of this type of media facilitating student technology learning. There are so many ways to add in this type of media so let loose and have fun!
