Be sure to sign In! Check in with your audio/video/slideshow entry from last week paying
particular attention to your description segment. Did you explain your choice,
name its value and why you wanted the students to use this particular selection
to enhance their education? Remember, you need to be explicit as to why you
chose this. Parents and students alike will be wondering why you selected this
for their learning. What outcome are you expecting from this entry?

· Discuss National and State Tech Standards and authentic assessment value with student edits and thoughtful response. (week two handouts)
· Participate in Integrate Technology Blog and Survey – (week four -- Tonite's Blog)
Remember, Blogging/Surveying can be for a variety of reasons and topics as well as presented using a variety of genres. Blogs/Surveys can also be presented to a variety of audiences: students, groups of students, parents, colleagues, etc. Using the Technology Standards, both National and State, located in the week two handout tab, what are your thoughts on student blogs/surveys and/or how you could apply a blog/survey within your web-space to enhance the integration of your web space into your program. Within the week, be sure to post your own comment to the Integrate Technology Blog and comment on two other posts. Then participate in the survey. Feel free to comment as you see fit...we would love to hear from you.
Tonight's assignment:
Create a class Blog or Survey on the topic and format of your choice. Allow either class time, Lab time, or assign comments to be made for homework. Be prepared to share with the group your blog/survey and your experiences with 'blogging' or 'surveying'.
